BHT Logistics | Full-Time | 10:00am to Late

BHT Logistics is a family-owned refrigerated transport company based in Bundaberg. With a modern, well-maintained fleet and a strong focus on reliable service, we are looking for a Local HC/MC Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who is reliable, organised, safety-focused and takes pride in doing the job properly.

About the Role

Working Friday to Monday, 10:00am to late, you will be responsible for local pickups and deliveries throughout the Bundaberg region.

You will work closely with growers, customers and our operations team, so a professional attitude, valuable communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Local pickups and deliveries throughout the Bundaberg region

- Loading and unloading freight, including using forklifts

- Ensuring freight is handled safely and correctly

- Communicating professionally with growers, customers and management

- Completing required paperwork and delivery documentation accurately

- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

- Maintaining a high standard of presentation and care for company vehicles and equipment

- Following all relevant transport, safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements

- Ensuring the vehicle, freight and paperwork are organised and ready for each run

About You

We are looking for someone who is dependable,



organised and takes genuine pride in their work.

The successful applicant will:

- Hold a current HC or MC Licence

- Have a Forklift Licence – desirable

- Have previous heavy vehicle driving experience

- Experience with refrigerated transport is preferred

- Be highly organised with good attention to detail

- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude

- Be reliable, punctual and committed to getting the job done right

- Take pride in the quality, safety and presentation of their work

- Be a hands-on team player who is equally comfortable working independently

- Have good communication and customer service skills

- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling when required

- Be flexible and committed to the Friday to Monday roster, 10:00am to late

- Be willing to undertake pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
