lyf Bondi Junction is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join as a Sous Chef. This full-time role will report to the Head Chef
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Supervising kitchen staff to ensure productive workflow and high food quality standards.
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising food waste.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Supporting staff training, development, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Previous experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen position within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and support a kitchen team.
- Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organisational,
and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
