High School Teacher - Reedy Creek Campus

We are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our College for a Maternity Leave position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students to achieve their academic and personal potential.

This is a Full Time Contract position from October 2026 - March 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with curriculum requirements.

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

• Support student wellbeing and promote positive behaviour.

• Contribute to the Christian culture and values of the College.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification & current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.

• Demonstrate a robust commitment to Christian values and the mission of Christian education.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.

• Commitment to student learning, wellbeing, and educational excellence.

• Commitment to the College’s ethos and values.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;

- at least 2 recent professional referees
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a Pastor or Minister).

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
