The role
We are working with Halo Connect, a healthcare medical technology startup, who are looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of the operational running of their business, freeing their leadership team to focus on continued growth. In this role, you'll own customer success processes, manage the support function, act as the operational lead during platform incidents, and build the processes and documentation needed as they continue to scale.

This is a high-trust, high-visibility role. You'll work closely with Halo's CTO and Head of Strategy and Growth, and report into leadership, on operational health.

What you'll do

- Run and improve customer success processes: onboarding, contract administration, billing, and relationship management
- Manage the support specialist and support function, including SLAs, escalations, and hiring as they scale
- Act as the operational and communications lead during platform incidents, working alongside our CTO and engineering team
- Coordinate stakeholders across active projects, keeping delivery, timelines, and communication on track
- Maintain internal systems of record (HubSpot, Notion) and manage non-cost-of-sales operating expenses
- Define and document the processes, runbooks,



and escalation paths needed as they grow

About you

- You've worked as an Operations Manager, Head of Operations, or similar role in either SaaS, health tech, or another infrastructure-critical business
- You're calm and decisive under pressure, and can lead an incident without losing the thread on communication
- You bring structure to ambiguity and naturally document and systemise as you go
- You're comfortable with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, cloud infrastructure) without needing to be an engineer
- You've managed or mentored individual contributors
- You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, including customers and the board

Experience with HubSpot, Notion, Microsoft 365, or Azure-hosted platforms is a bonus, not a requirement.
