We are seeking an experienced Internal Projects Manager to lead and deliver a range of strategic and operational improvement initiatives across a large and complex organisation. This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful business outcomes, lead cross-functional projects, and contribute to ongoing transformation and continuous improvement programs. Based on the success of the assignment, there is a strong likelihood of the role becoming permanent.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of internal business projects
Develop project plans, business cases, implementation schedules, and governance frameworks
Manage project budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, and reporting
Partner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable project outcomes
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, steering committee meetings, and project reviews
Drive organisational change and support adoption of new processes and systems
Monitor project performance against agreed milestones and success measures
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
Ensure compliance with project governance standards and documentation requirements
Your Profile
To be successful, you will bring:
- 5+ years' experience in project management, business transformation, PMO, or operational improvement environments
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects from initiation through to completion with strong services experience
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions
- Experience managing budgets, project reporting, and governance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Change management experience will be highly regarded
- Immediate start opportunity
- Attractive hourly rate of around $75-$85 per hour + super
- Initial 6-month casual role (full time hours) with a strong likelihood of permanency
