$90,000 + Super | Full-Time | Coffs Harbour Area

A new distribution centre is opening just 10 minutes from Coffs Harbour, and Fuse Recruitment are looking for a hands-on Forklift Storeperson who can step up into a Weekend Team Leader role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, a forklift licence and a willingness to learn. Previous supervisory experience is not essential — the right attitude and ability to lead from the front are what matter most.

For You:

- $90,000 + Super
- Full-time position
- Wednesday to Sunday roster
- Approx. 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, with some flexibility depending on seasonal demand
- Current distribution centre opening in the Coffs Harbour area
- Start late August / early September, including one week of training in Sydney (all expenses paid)
- Small, close-knit team of four to start
- Work with locally sourced fresh produce
- Modern Toyota electric forklifts
- Paper-based picking and pallet movements initially, with some pallet restacking
- Opportunity to grow with the operation as it expands

The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a brand-new operation from the ground up. You’ll play an important role in establishing the site, with the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and grow with the operation over time.

Your duties will include:

Wednesday–Friday:

- Operating forklifts and assisting with warehouse operations
- Loading and unloading pallets from trucks to the pick face areas
- Loading and unloading trucks, B-Doubles, Semi trailers
- Picking and moving stock VIA pick to paper (no RF Scanning)




- Maintaining accurate inventory
- Assisting with pallet restacking and general warehouse duties
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Quality assurance checks of goods (produce)

Saturday–Sunday:

- Taking the lead on site operations and supervising two casual forklift operators
- Coordinating the weekend team and labour requirements
- Supporting warehouse, transport and inventory activities
- Managing stock movements and ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time
- Working with clients, transport providers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining high standards of safety, food safety, quality and compliance
- Supporting operational planning during busy seasonal periods
- Completing your regular Wednesday to Friday duties as well

About You
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and happy to get stuck in. Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential. If you’re an experienced forklift operator who is ready to take the next step, training and support will be provided.
Experience in fresh produce, FMCG, food manufacturing or cold-chain environments will be highly regarded.

You’ll ideally you will have the below:





- Acurrent forklift licence and solid counter balance forklift operating experience
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, FMCG or a similar environment
- Strong communication skills
- Apractical, problem-solving mindset
- The ability to work independently and make decisions when required
- A willingness to lead a small team and take ownership
- A positive attitude and the flexibility to adapt as the site develops
- A safety mindset where you takes safety seriously
- A strong work ethic
- Are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Are open to change and willing to give things a go
- Take pride in getting the job done properly
- Can lead by example
- Builds positive relationships with colleagues, growers and stakeholders
