Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting research and gathering user insights to understand participant, staff and stakeholder needs, translating findings into practical service improvements.
- Facilitating workshops, co-design activities and service design sessions to develop, test and refine future service experiences and processes.
- Mapping current and future state service journeys, analysing business processes and identifying opportunities to improve end-to-end participant experiences.
- Engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships, gain insights and support delivery outcomes.
- Contributing to service design strategies and solutions that improve participant outcomes, support Agency priorities and align with Digital Service Standards.
What You Will Need to Succeed
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Experience in human-centred design, user research and gathering insights to inform service improvements and participant outcomes.
- Strong facilitation and co-design skills, with the ability to lead workshops and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven capability in service design, journey mapping and process improvement across complex service environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgement and a focus on delivering practical, participant-centred solutions.
The Logistics
- 12-month contract with possibility of extension or permanency.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Hourly rate of $60.26 + super.
- Opportunity available in Richmond, VIC
- Australian Citizenship is required.
