About the organisation
This entrepreneurial and fast-moving mining and resources business undergoing significant growth is focused on building the people, systems and processes required to support its next phase of expansion. While the operational footprint will grow across Australia and New Zealand, the corporate head office remains intentionally lean, creating an environment where collaboration, agility and accountability are highly valued.
About the role
The company is currently supporting growth initiatives, managing workforce transition activities associated with contract mobilisation and preparing for further expansion as additional operations come online. It has an opportunity for a commercially minded People & Culture Manager to partner with the executive team and operational leaders to support workforce growth, mobilisation activity and organisational change. As the key HR leader, you will partner closely with operational and executive stakeholders to build scalable people practices, support workforce transitions and ensure the business is well positioned for future expansion.
About You
You are a commercially focused HR professional who thrives in fast-paced operational environments and enjoys being close to the business.
You are comfortable operating within a lean corporate structure where success comes from taking initiative, building relationships and personally driving outcomes.
You enjoy the variety that comes from partnering with leaders on strategic workforce matters while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR delivery. Most importantly, you are someone who embraces a hands-on approach and is excited by the opportunity to help build the people foundations of a growing organisation.
A background gained from mining or heavy industry is essential. This is an ideal chance for someone looking to move from a site-based HR role into a broader regional position while retaining a strong connection to operations and decision-makers.
