Natural Selection Group is partnering with Australian Motoring Services (AMS) to appoint a new role within the organisation, Head of Product.

Australian Motoring Services (AMS) is the organisation behind a range of mobility, roadside assistance, battery and EV charging services, backed by NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC and RACT.

AMS is currently implementing a new strategy focused on creating a more integrated motoring solutions platform, bringing together customers, partners, products and services through digital, data and AI-enabled experiences.

As Head of Product, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the product management function, developing product strategy and roadmaps, driving prioritisation and investment decisions, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, this role offers the opportunity to influence how product management is embedded across the organisation while supporting a significant period of transformation and growth.

This is: what you'll do

- Establish and lead the AMS product management function
- Develop product strategy, roadmaps and priorities aligned to organisational objectives
- Establish product governance, lifecycle standards and operating practices
- Drive product prioritisation and investment decision-making
- Lead product discovery and proposition development activities
- Partner with technology, engineering and business leaders to deliver product outcomes
- Define and monitor product performance measures and benefits realisation
- Support portfolio governance, planning and prioritisation activities
- Build product capability, standards and ways of working across the organisation
- Contribute as a senior leader within the Product & Technology function

This is: what you'll need

- Experience in a Head of Product, Product Director or equivalent senior product leadership position
- Demonstrated experience establishing or leading product functions
- Strong product strategy, governance and roadmap management capability
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders and organisational decision-making
- Commercial acumen and a customer-focused mindset
- Experience delivering product outcomes within complex environments




- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to drive clarity, alignment and prioritisation across competing demands
- Data-informed decision-making capability
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
