Key Responsibilities

- Drive Plate Excellence: Craft and send out consistently outstanding bistro classics, modern favourites, and function menus that keep members coming back

- Own the Flow of Service: Keep daily prep on track and maintain a smooth, coordinated kitchen flow when service kicks into gear

- Lead by Example on the Line: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with our cooks and kitchen hands, sharing techniques and keeping team energy high

- Leave Your Creative Mark: Collaborate directly with management to build seasonal menus, feature fresh regional ingredients, and test creative weekly specials

- Protect the Standard: Keep hygiene, food safety, and HACCP practices uncompromisingly sharp across all storage and prep areas

- Run a Tight, Smart Kitchen: Partner on stock control, supplier orders, and clever wastage reduction to hit budget targets without sacrificing portion size or quality

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Craft: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or recognised equivalent) paired with a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate

- Real-World Experience: Solid background delivering consistent, high-volume meals in a club, pub, or dynamic venue

- Composure on the Pass: Clear communication, strong time management, and a calm,



methodical approach during peak service rush

- Positive Kitchen Culture: A genuine team player who leads by example on the line, supports fellow cooks, and helps maintain high kitchen morale

- Roster Reliability: Availability across a flexible 7-day schedule, including the evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts that drive club trade

- Location & Work Rights: Must currently reside in Australia with valid working rights (employer visa sponsorship may be considered for exceptional onshore candidates; overseas applications will not be processed)
