Grange Resources Limited is Australia’s most experienced magnetite producer from its iron ore mining and pellet production business located in North-West Tasmania.
The Savage River magnetite iron ore mine is a long-life mining asset where ore is mined and processed before it is transported by pipeline to the pellet plant and ship loading facility at Port Latta.
About the role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Electrician who will be responsible for Electrical, Commercial and Domestic facilities maintenance and repairs to fixed and/or mobile equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical, instrumentation, Commercial and Domestic facilities installation and repairs
- Provide the skills and knowledge of the plant process and operating equipment to a standard to effectively diagnose
- Identify and control all hazards associated with electrical maintenance duties
- Assisting in continuous improvement and process development projects
About you
- Pass Year 10 & Electrical Trades Certificate
- Current "A" Grade Electrical Technicians Licence
- Work to AS3000 & all related Electrical Australian Standards
- Proven diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability and versatility to apply Electrical, Instrumentation & Commercial and Domestic facilities maintenance skills to a wide and demanding range under difficult conditions
- Experience working in Mining processing environment preferable
- Current full manual driver's licence
