About the Role

Sustained demand across the region means Douglas Partners is expanding its geotechnical team in Wollongong. We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team as we strengthen our position as the leading geotechnical consultancy across the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands.

This is a key technical and project leadership role, responsible for delivering high-quality geotechnical services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, civil and development projects throughout southern NSW.

What We’re Looking For

- Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

- 6+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering within Australia, with a minimum 2 years’ project management experience

- Chartered status (e.g. CPEng, RPGeo),



or actively progressing towards chartership (desirable)

- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NSW-specific conditions

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong project and client leadership capability, with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client partnerships through strategic engagement and the delivery of expert solutions

- Established local networks you can leverage to drive business growth and secure high-value projects

- A desire to collaborate, mentor and contribute to the continued success of the business
