FinXL is seeking a .NET Developer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Government client on a 12-month contract in Sydney Olympic Park.

Advance your consulting career and join the FinXL Development practice as a .NET Developer for a pivotal Government engagement. This position requires deep hands-on .NET expertise to support a range of application and uplift initiatives, including application migration, modernisation, SQL Server, JavaScript, and server transitions. The role also involves work across Dynamics CRM on‑prem and Power Platform components, while collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders. .NET, C#, JavaScript, Dynamics CRM, MAUI and SQL Server.

This role requires a security clearance and is only open to Australian citizens or PR holders.

Responsibilities

- Drive the migration and modernization of applications moving from legacy platforms to target environments.
- Execute API enhancements and framework uplifts leveraging .NET and core Web technologies.
- Oversee SQL Server database activities including query optimization, scripting, and data transition.
- Facilitate server migration efforts through system configuration, deployment support,



and issue remediation.
- Customize, integrate, and maintain workflows within on-premises Dynamics CRM architectures.
- Deliver technical enhancements across Power Apps and the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
- Author precise technical documentation, architectural specifications, and post-migration support guides.

Key Skills & Experience

- Proven hands-on development expertise with the .NET Framework and JavaScript.
- Strong practical knowledge of Git/GitHub for repo maintenance, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid technical familiarity with Dynamics CRM on-premise components, including plugins and workflows.
- Working exposure to Microsoft Power Apps and surrounding Power Platform tools.
- Deep capability with SQL Server management, including complex queries, stored procedures, and data migration.
- Experience utilizing Xamarin and .NET MAUI for mobile application migration and cross-platform builds preferred.
- Demonstrated success working on application modernization, server uplift, and change management initiatives.
- This role requires a security clearance and is only open to Australian citizens or PR holders.

Engagement Details

- 12-month contract with a Government client.
- Hybrid working model with 2-3 days/week in the office in Sydney Olympic Park.
