About the role

Agnew Drilling is seeking a Drillers Offsider to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. This position is located in Tintinara, SA 5266 and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the drilling industry. As a Drillers Offsider, you will work alongside experienced drillers to support drilling operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of drilling activities. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of safety, quality and productivity on site.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting drillers with the setup and operation of drilling equipment on site

- Supporting the preparation of drill sites, including ground assessment and equipment positioning

- Monitoring drilling operations and ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to at all times

- Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of drilling equipment and machinery

- Recording drilling data and operational information as required

- Conducting pre-shift inspections and reporting any equipment faults or safety concerns

- Supporting the safe handling and storage of drilling materials and fuel

- Responding promptly to operational requirements and assisting with troubleshooting equipment issues

- Communicating effectively with the drilling crew and site supervisors to ensure smooth operations

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in compliance with site standards

What we're looking for

- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification

- Proven experience working as a Drillers Offsider or in a similar support role within mining or drilling operations

- Strong understanding of health and safety practices relevant to drilling operations

- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions

- A valid HR driving licence





- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

- Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn equipment operation and maintenance

- A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards on site

- Flexibility to work casual hours and adapt to operational demands
