The Role

This is an chance to take a leading role in shaping how data supports the development of ABC Digital Products. The Senior Technical Product Analyst contributes to and delivers the product data strategy, helping Product & Technology teams leverage data to make informed decisions, improve products and deliver on the ABC's strategic objectives.

Working closely with product, technology and business stakeholders, you will provide specialist expertise in product analytics, data modelling and data visualisation, while supporting data capability uplift and driving best practice across digital product teams.

Key Accountabilities

- Deliver the product data strategy for ABC Digital Product to support Product & Technology and ABC strategic objectives.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads and key stakeholders to design the standards for data capture, ensuring data is meaningful, trusted and consistent across all ABC Digital Products.
- Provide subject matter expertise and collaborate with a team of Technical Product Analysts under the guidance of the Group Product Manager.
- Work across teams to capture and deliver the data required to inform product roadmap decisions through practical and accessible visualisation tools and techniques.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, incorporating business needs and feedback into future planning and product enhancements.
- Lead data literacy uplift initiatives across the department and contribute to reducing data quality incidents.
- Define, maintain and document data models that support insights generation and product decision-making.
- Follow and promote practices that meet security and privacy requirements,



ensuring all data handling activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.

About You

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent significant skills, knowledge and experience in product management, data analytics or digital development.
- Significant experience in data governance and product analytics, with data engineering and data visualisation experience desirable.
- Outstanding capability in leading the implementation of metrics, dimensions, event schemas and calculations with product teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated technical leadership capability, including experience training, mentoring and guiding team members.
- Proven experience building strategic stakeholder partnerships and collaborating on shared project objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a curiosity for innovation across product analytics, data models and data visualisation.
