The Role

This is a excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping shape how data supports the future of ABC Digital Products. Working across product, technology and analytics teams, the Technical Product Analyst contributes to the delivery of the product data strategy, helping ensure data is accessible, meaningful and effectively used to support product development and strategic decision-making across the ABC.

Key Accountabilities

- Under broad direction, support the delivery of the product data strategy for ABC Digital Products to meet Product & Technology and ABC strategic objectives.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads and other stakeholders to capture, analyse and visualise data to support product development activities.
- Liaise with a team of Technical Product Analysts under the guidance of the Group Product Manager.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure event tagging quality meets shared data event schema requirements.
- Define, document and maintain data models to support data integrity, consistency and relevance for product teams making product development decisions.
- Support the uplift of data literacy across the department by providing training and guidance to help teams use and interpret data effectively.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration to capture the data required to inform product development through practical visualisation tools and techniques.
- Provide specialist input into the definition and documentation of data models that support insight generation and analysis for product teams.
- Follow and promote practices that meet security and privacy requirements, ensuring all data handling activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.





About You

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent extensive skills, knowledge and experience in product management, data analytics or digital development.
- Substantial experience working within high-performing, cross-functional teams, contributing to a positive workplace culture and achieving shared outcomes.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a curiosity for innovation across product analytics, data modelling and data visualisation.
- Strong capability in implementing metrics, dimensions, event schemas and calculations in partnership with product teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to gather data requirements and translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of data governance best practices, including data quality, data management, data security and privacy.
- Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and data innovation with a commitment to continuous learning and helping drive the successful adoption of new capabilities.
