Are you an experienced veterinary nurse who wants to develop an advanced cardiology skillset?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated veterinary nurse to join our specialist veterinary cardiology hospital in Brisbane.

This is not a conventional veterinary nursing role.

We are a state-of-the-art specialist cardiology hospital, performing interventional procedures and surgeries that are not performed anywhere else in Australia. Our team works at the forefront of veterinary cardiac medicine and surgery. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of something genuinely unique.

Veterinary cardiology is a highly specialised field. You won't be doing a little bit of everything — instead, you will have the opportunity to develop extraordinary depth of knowledge and expertise in one fascinating area of veterinary medicine.

You will develop specialist nursing skills in areas including:

· Cardiac emergent and critical care patients

· Advanced cardiac diagnostics and imaging

· Anaesthesia and monitoring of complex cardiac patients

· Interventional cardiology procedures and cardiac surgery

· Management of patients with complex cardiovascular disease

· Nurse consultations with owners and their pets for ongoing management of cardiac disease
