The Opportunity:

- X2 Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment positions.
- $116,147 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading.
- Moorabbin & Bourke Street campuses (2 vacancies – one per campus).

The Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies (HSCSS) offers a progressive and supportive teaching environment across health, science and community services, including our ANMAC-accredited, NMBA-approved Diploma of Nursing, which leads to national registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA and a seamless pathway into the second year of a Bachelor of Nursing. Delivered across our Bourke Street and Moorabbin campuses, the program is enriched by Holmesglen's world-class Simulation Centre – a recognised leader in simulation-based education featuring VR and immersive scenarios – along with strong industry partnerships offering fellowships, cadetships and structured Professional Experience Placements.

This role will provide educational leadership within the Diploma of Nursing program, with a focus on integrating digital learning and simulation technologies into teaching practice. You'll ensure best-practice standards are applied consistently across the curriculum, contribute expert input into the design and delivery of digitally enhanced and simulation-based learning experiences,



and mentor fellow educators in the effective use of digital pedagogy to enrich student engagement and clinical preparedness.

As a Nursing Teacher, you will:

- Deliver high-quality nursing education and training in line with ASQA Standards, accreditation requirements and Training Packages
- Design and deliver creative, inclusive teaching that integrates simulation and digital learning technologies to prepare students for AHPRA registration
- Develop and review Training and Assessment Strategies, learning resources and assessment tools relevant to industry and clinical practice
- Support students throughout their learning journey, from induction through to assessment, feedback and course completion
- Mentor fellow educators in digital pedagogy and learning technologies, and contribute to continuous improvement and compliance across the course

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
- An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area (nursing), or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- Strong VET/higher education knowledge, including current national policy frameworks, regulatory requirements and industry practices
- Expertise in designing, delivering and assessing vocational programs, using adaptable, student-centred teaching practices across varied learning modes
- Confident integration of ICT in education, including effective use of the Microsoft 365 suite
- Excellent communication skills,



with the ability to adapt style and tone to suit diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Current licences, registration or professional membership relevant to nursing practice, where applicable

WWCC and Police Check:

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
