Maintenance Officer
The Opportunity

We're partnering with a respected not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit a Maintenance Officer for a full-time position within a residential aged care workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining secure and welcoming environments, and wants the stability of a Monday to Friday role.

You'll become part of a supportive team where your work plays an important role in creating a comfortable, safe and well-maintained home for residents, staff and visitors.

Key Information
Full-time, Monday to Friday
$35.00 per hour (trade qualified) or $30.48 per hour (non-trade)
Superannuation and salary packaging

What You'll Be Doing
Carry out general building maintenance and repairs
Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Maintain outdoor areas, gardens and shared spaces
Liaise with external contractors when required
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting

About You
Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or trade role
Trade qualification highly regarded but not essential
Practical problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Current driver's licence
Unrestricted full-time Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
