About the role

Key responsibilities
Explore and evaluate system solution requirements, engaging with stakeholders to advise on the most suitable development strategies.
Develop and maintain high-quality program code that aligns with system specifications and accredited quality benchmarks.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of system program needs, pinpointing technological gaps and weaknesses in current systems and workflows.
Perform rigorous testing, debugging,



and troubleshooting of application code, adhering to established testing frameworks and quality guidelines.
Produce and regularly update comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and operational manuals.
Oversee software testing and deployment automation, while building continuous integration and delivery processes across the development lifecycle.
Remain current with emerging technologies, integrating relevant innovations into existing and current projects to boost efficiency and user satisfaction.

Skills and qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
At least 3 years of hands-on skilled experience in a Developer Programmer role or a comparable position.
Proven proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, C++, or similar.
Practical experience in writing, testing, debugging, and sustaining production-level code.
Excellent analytical, communication, and cooperative abilities.
