The Rottnest Barge Service delivers supplies to Rottnest Island by two 30 metre landing craft. Our vision is to provide great service to our customers, efficiently and with high quality.

A successful candidate will have a qualified yet friendly style and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. You are highly organised, have excellent communication skills and a solid technical background.

We are seeking a Master <45m (NC) to operate our daily barge service to Rottnest. This role requires:
Availability Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends




Solid mechanical and vessel knowledge
A willingness to assist the crew in loading/unloading and delivering freight on the island
Robust commitment to vessel and crew safety at all times
Excellent customer service
Strong problem solving, decision making and interpersonal skills with a solutions focused approach
