The Business Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall financial, compliance and administration requirements of the both The River School and our Early Childcare Centre are met with efficiency, integrity and professionalism.

As the Business Manager you will provide strategic advice, analysis and planning support to the Principal and the School Board in relation to financial planning and budgeting, human resources management, facility and asset management and administrative services.

In addition to the primary role, the Business Manager will involve him/herself in the life of the school and develop healthy relationships with staff, students and families to assist with building the "community" of the school.

This is a full time position with expansive responsibilities including:
Full Financial Management from data entry to Key performance analysis, 3-way financial forecasts, monthly Board reporting and Payroll processing
Human Resources
Risk and Compliance




Facilities, Services and Property management.

Essential Criteria:
Minimum Tertiary Qualification in Finance or Accounting
CA or CPA Qualified Preferred (but not essential)
Experience working with Xero Accounting and Payroll Software
Minimum 5 years Managerial Expertise, preferably in an education workplace
Working with Children's Check
Criminal History Check
Current Child Safety Certificate (online course details will be provided prior to employment)
