Symons Clark Logistics is growing our Local Regional Mining Operations team and has immediate opportunities available from our Port Adelaide depot. You’ll join a South Australian family-owned business where drivers are known by name, supported by an experienced operations team, and backed by long-term mining contracts.

The role:

You’ll be responsible for:
Operating large road train combinations safely and in accordance with NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements
Completing pre-start inspections and transport documentation
Loading and unloading freight safely and professionally




Representing Symons Clark Logistics with a strong customer focus
Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.

What we’re looking for:

Essential
MC-Unrestricted Licence
Clean driving history over the past five years
Proven experience as a truck driver operating a road ranger gearbox and MC-Unrestricted licence, preferably in the mining or heavy transport industry.
Robust commitment to safety and fatigue management
Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
Ability to obtain Flinders Ports and MSIC security clearances
Willingness to work adaptable schedule, including weekends and nights as required.

Desirable
Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence or willingness to obtain one

Successful applicants will complete a comprehensive pre-employment medical (including a Fit to Drive assessment), drug and alcohol screening, and a police check.
