Job Description

The Louis Dreyfus Company are currently recruiting for the full time position of Assistant Ginner, based at our Emerald site. This position is responsible for the effective, effective and secure operation of all areas under their control. Whilst based in Emerald, this position may require travel to work at other LDC gin sites as required. Remuneration range will be tailored to the level of the role and to the individual depending on qualifications, experience, and knowledge. Relocation expenses can also be negotiated (if required).

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Gin operation and safety
Assist in maintaining the physical appearance of the gin site
Maintenance – constantly monitor and maintain machinery and equipment to the highest standard to facilitate continuity of production and quality.
Employee supervision
Work permits - Assist ginner and site management with ensuring work permits are completed for all high-risk activity
