Semrad is a leading Australian distributor of industrial instrumentation, process control and monitoring solutions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team in a dispatch role.

This role would be well suited to a university student who requires flexibility in a job. It would be ideal for someone looking to enter the field of logistics, electrical trade or engineering and seeking some experience. On-the-job training is provided.

The position is casual, approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility around days and hours. Permanent part-time work would also be considered for the right person.

Dispatch tasks will include:
Open and document inventory received from suppliers
Cross-check inventory against purchase orders and documentation
Pick items to fulfil order requirements
Pack prepared items for shipment, including packaging and labelling
Arrange shipment of packed items




Prepare and maintain accurate records of items picked, packed and dispatched
Send shipment notifications to customers
Track incoming and outgoing shipments to provide status updates, when necessary
Maintain an organised dispatch area
Assist with other areas of the business as required

Physically able to lift and pack equipment (some equipment is heavy)
