We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled and energetic accountant to join our finance team in a supportive setting where you are encouraged to grow your career as the business scales.

Key duties
Processing creditor payments and expenses
Processing debtor invoicing and receipting
Monthly intercompany charges and recoveries
Expense monitoring and analysis
Analysing and responding to queries (internal and external)
Reconciliation of bank accounts
End-of-month processing
Monthly reconciliations

Project accounting duties including:
Preparing progress reports
Preparing progress claims
Analysing variations to original budget
Tracking cost spend to date and cost to complete
Drawing down funds from finance facilities to pay for projects
Liaising with project managers (internal and external)



and providing support

What we are looking for
A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role
A minimum of two years’ experience with the Xero accounting package
Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Highly organised
A problem solver
A proven ability to adapt and learn quickly
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience in construction, engineering or project-based environments will be highly regarded
