About the role

This full-time Advertising Sales Executive position is an exciting prospect to join the team at Star News Group. Based in Healesville, Victoria, you’ll be helping local businesses connect with their community through our popular print and digital publications.

If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and building robust relationships, this role could be a perfect fit, even if you don’t have direct sales experience.

What you'll be doing
Building relationships with local businesses and understanding their needs
Helping clients find the right advertising solutions to reach their audience
Providing ongoing support and ensuring clients are happy with their campaigns
Working with our creative team to bring advertising ideas to life
Looking for opportunities to introduce new clients to our publications
Celebrating team and individual successes as you meet achievable targets

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who loves working with people and is motivated to learn. You might come from retail, hospitality, customer service, or another role where listening, problem-solving, and communication are key.




Robust people and communication skills
A friendly and professional approach with clients
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and try new things
Motivation to achieve goals, both individually and as part of a team
Local knowledge of Healesville and surrounding areas is a bonus
