Looking for a Speech Pathology role that gives you flexibility without stepping away from meaningful clinical work?
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join a growing disability and therapy service supporting children and families across Melbourne.
Starting at 10 hours per week, this could suit an experienced Speech Pathologist looking for greater flexibility, someone returning to the workforce or a clinician wanting to complement an existing role.
As the service continues to grow, there is scope for additional hours and the prospect to develop the position into permanent employment.

Saturday: 10.00 am – 1.30 pm
Additional hours expected to become available with increasing participant demand
The Role
You’ll work primarily with children under the NDIS, providing individual and group-based Speech Pathology support in clinic and community settings.
Your work will include:
Conducting speech and language assessments
Developing therapy plans aligned with participants’ NDIS goals
Delivering engaging one-to-one therapy and group communication programs
Supporting speech, language, social communication and AAC needs
Working closely with parents, carers, educators and other professionals
Providing practical strategies and coaching to families
Preparing progress reports, case notes and NDIS documentation
Contributing to social communication and community-based programs
About You
You’ll bring a warm, child-centred approach and enjoy building relationships with children and their families.
You will need:
A relevant Speech Pathology qualification
Membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Victorian Working With Children Check
National Police Check
First Aid and CPR
An understanding of NDIS Practice Standards
A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle would be helpful for community-based work but not essential.
Why Consider This Role?
You’ll have the chance to work closely with children and families, contribute to developing programs and potentially increase your hours as the service grows.
If you’re looking for a flexible Speech Pathology chance with room to grow, we’d love to hear from you.
