The Role
A outstanding career opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our client's national Finance team in the Melbourne office. In this role, you will support the Finance Manager with key finance deliverables on a monthly basis and assist the wider Finance Team, providing back-up and support across all areas.

Key accountabilities and deliverables include:
Produce accurate monthly management reports on a timely basis
Assist with leasing
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Bank reporting
Complete monthly BAS and other returns
Quarterly reporting
Payment reporting




Ad-hoc reporting for management and partners
Assist in the month-end process
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Trust Accounting assistance

Successful applicants will have 5+ years experience in either Financial/Managment Accounting or Business Partnering.

Key competencies:
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of work produced in a timely manner
Good understanding of accounting principles and their application
Ability to complete BAS returns and an understanding of IFRS principles
Good knowledge of applicable systems
Plans and organises work effectively and efficiently
Robust ability to build lasting relationships
Team-oriented
