Grosvenor Mine

Grosvenor Mine has an exciting opportunity for multiple experienced Underground Operators who are trained and authorised to operate a Sandvik Continuous Miner, to join our operational team on a full time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Deputy, the primary purpose of the role is to complete all tasks safely and efficiently, to assist Grosvenor Mine in achieving its goal of zero harm.

Key responsibilities will include, not limited to:
Safely and efficiently operate a variety of underground mining equipment (primarily the Sandvik Continuous Miner).
Maintaining a protected and productive mining setting.
Applying statutory obligations as required.
Operation of equipment to consistently deliver specified hourly targets.
Work proactively with on-shift peers to ensure a high level of safety & productivity to agreed standards & responsibilities.
Assist with maintenance activities as required.
Actively ensure all personal authorisations and competencies are maintained.
Uniformly applying Anglo American standards and procedures i.e. the mine Safety & Health Management System & Anglo Golden Rules.
