About the Role
As a Polywelder, you will be responsible for:
HDPE butt welding from 63mm to 900mm
Electrofusion welding of HDPE pipe joints
Completing weld registers and HDPE parameter cards
Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting faults
Operating plant and equipment safely
Working closely with Site Supervisors to maintain a strong safety-first culture
Adhering to BMR’s HSEQ policies and procedures at all times
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience working as a Polywelder
HDPE Liner experience desireable
Valid Butt & Electrofusion certifications (RTO approved, within 2 years)
Trade Plumber background highly regarded
Telehandler ticket
Minimum C Class license - HR preferred
Construction White Card
Chainsaw certification
IT - C2/C6 - Excavator - Rigging tickets
Experience operating McElroy and Dixon welders
National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)
RTIO/BHP/FMG Inducted (desirable)
Ability to pass pre-employment medical & DAS
