This is an excellent prospect to join one of Thiess's established, high‑performing Drill & Blast teams across all of our WA mine sites. As a Blast Hole Driller, you'll operate rigs safely and efficiently to achieve daily production targets, working a 2:1 roster. You will be a key member of a skilled and supportive crew, playing a vital role in delivering accurate, productive and high‑quality drilling outcomes.

Key responsibilities:
Drill holes to the right depth and angle as per the drill plan
Conduct daily pre-start checks and report any equipment issues
Adjust drilling based on ground conditions
Follow all safety rules and site procedures




Work closely with Shotfirers and Supervisors to achieve accurate drill patterns
Demonstrate knowledge of ground conditions and drilling techniques

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in a production mining open pit environment
Epiroc T45 and D65 and Sandvik D1650i, DP1500i and DR410i & CAT MD6250 & CAT 5150 experience preferred
Current Manual WA driver's licence
HR licence advantageous
Robust communication skills
