The Role

Working closely within a small, hands-on crew, you’ll help ensure the smooth operation of lighting infrastructure critical to our aquaculture operations.

Key responsibilities include:
Installing and removing underwater lighting equipment used in our lighting program
Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing lighting systems, ropes, buoys, and cable conduits
Keeping accurate records, including spreadsheets, audits, and maintenance logs
Maintaining a clean, protected, and well-organised work environment aboard vessels and lighting barges
Operating a range of hand and power tools to support daily tasks

Located at Port Huon, this is a fulltime prospect working 7 days on, 7 days off, Wednesday to Tuesday.

About you

You’re a hands-on team player who enjoys working in a close-knit, diverse crew. You bring:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships within a team




Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to make sound and timely decisions and work effectively under tight deadlines
