Mining Contractor

A fast-paced blue-collar recruiter is required for a top-tier mining contractor.

This is an opportunity to join a leading mining contractor and play a key role in delivering quality recruitment outcomes across a energetic and fast-paced operational workplace.

Reporting to the Recruitment Leader, you will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, partnering closely with hiring leaders to attract, assess and secure top talent. You will ensure all recruitment activities are compliant, merit-based and aligned with company policies and required employment legislation.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle across a range of blue collar mining positions
Partnering with hiring leaders to provide expert recruitment advice and support workforce planning
Search and select through effective advertising and pipelining, prescreening and interviewing
Manage pre-employment checks, including medicals, police clearances and verification of qualifications and work rights




Prepare and issue employment offers and associated documentation
Ensure recruitment governance, compliance and data integrity standards are maintained
Identify and escalate recruitment risks

To be successful in your application, you will demonstrate consolidated experience as an end-to-end blue collar recruiter from within the mining or a related sector. It is essential that you possess solid stakeholder engagement and relationship building, can manage a high-volume portfolio, possess a strong attention to detail and compliance. You must work well within a team environment and enjoy participating in a supportive, hands-on environment.
