Specific Skills
Minimum 6 months of skilled experience in the cleaning industry
Understanding of the proper use and safety concerns of cleaning chemicals and implements
Must have valid Manual Handling Certificate or be willing to obtain one
Valid NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one
Up to date vaccination as per Australian Government regulations, including but not limited to Influenza and COVID-19
Must hold an Australian Driving Licence

Responsible For
General cleaning: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, and windows
Sanitizing: especially in areas like bathrooms and kitchens, sanitizing to prevent the spread of germs,



including cleaning fixtures, mirrors, and walls
Trash disposal: emptying waste bins and ensuring trash is properly segregated and disposed of according to recycling and waste management guidelines
Restocking supplies: ensuring consumables, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and hand towels, are adequately stocked
Floor care: depending on the type of flooring, this may involve polishing, sealing, or applying specific treatments like waxing
Safety practices: following health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and injury, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
