About the Role

We're looking for a proactive Purchasing / Expediting Officer to keep our modular manufacturing and project delivery schedules running on time. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll own the timely, cost-effective procurement and delivery of the materials, components, and services that keep production moving, making sure a build is never held up by a material shortage.

It's a hands-on role at the heart of our supply chain. You'll raise and manage purchase orders, actively chase suppliers to secure on-time delivery.

What You'll Do
Raise, issue, and manage purchase orders, and compare supplier quotes to secure the best value across price, quality, and lead-time
Proactively track open orders and expedite suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery




Monitor production and project schedules to prioritise critical-path materials and prevent shortages
Identify delivery risks early and drive recovery actions to protect build timelines
Coordinate inbound freight, logistics, and customs clearance for domestic and international orders
Build solid working relationships with key suppliers
Support sourcing, qualification, and onboarding of recent suppliers

What You'll Bring
2–3+ years' experience in a purchasing, procurement, or expediting role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or construction
Proven experience raising and managing purchase orders and expediting deliveries to schedule
Confidence working with an ERP / MRP or procurement and inventory system
A proactive, detail-focused approach and the communication skills to keep suppliers and internal teams aligned
