The Adviser, Health and Safety is an integral role to ensuring a protected and compliant work workplace by delivering practical WHS guidance and fostering a culture of safety in a challenging operational workplace.
In this role you will assist the management team within the centre to fulfil their legislation obligations relating to workplace health and safety as well as promote the Department's strategic goals associated with promoting services and workplace safety matters.
The role is functionally accountable to the Senior Adviser Health & Safety but is located at Lockyer Valley and Southern Queensland Correctional Centres.
