Acquired by Paraway in 2016, Tanbar is a large scale cattle growing operation on the Cooper Creek in the channel country of Western Queensland. Tanbar is an important part of the success of Paraway’s Northern breeding operations, receiving the bulk of its cattle from Rocklands, which are grown out for markets on the east coast. What we expect from you:

The Casual Cook role is a short-term position (approx. 8 weeks) suited to a person or couple who is a great team player, happy to cook up straightforward, homestyle meals - no formal qualifications required. An ideal chance to experience a taste of station life, whether you're a traveler or backpacker. Other light duties will be made available for couples.




Help out Tanbar Station for the upcoming muster, including three stock camps
Manage and prepare food supplies that will be delivered to the stock camps, using caravan type cooking facilities
Provide general duties around the station and at stock camp locations, including moving supplies/equipment, cleaning and gardening
Own caravan can be used however accommodation provided (single bed on the kitchen caravan)
