About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering/Food Services Attendant to join our food services team at a Private Hospital in Penrith Area. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and rapid-paced workplace, committed to delivering exceptional, patient-focused food services.

Key Responsibilities
Assisting with Meal Delivery: Help in the delivery of meals to patients' rooms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital protocols, ensuring portion control and presentation standards are met.
Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness in food preparation and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
Customer Service: Interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly and skilled manner, addressing any questions or concerns about the food service.
Supporting Kitchen Staff: Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff,



including taking on additional tasks as needed during busy periods.

Skills and Experience
Previous experience in food service, particularly within healthcare or aged care settings, will be highly regarded.
Strong understanding of food hygiene practices and cleanliness standards.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a keen attention to detail.
High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility in shift availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.95 per hour
