We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team who can bring their own participant. In this role, you will work directly with participants to understand behaviours of concern, complete functional behaviour assessments, and develop tailored Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs). You will provide training to families and support workers, monitor progress, and ensure all supports meet the NDIS Quality & Safeguards standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and assessments
Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
Provide coaching to families, carers, and support staff
Review progress and update plans as needed
Document all work in line with NDIS requirements
Requirements:
Degree in Psychology, Social Work, OT, or related field
Experience with behaviour support (preferred)
NDIS Worker Screening
Working with Children Check
Solid communication and documentation skills
