About the role

Taco Street is looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Team Member to join our team in North Strathfield. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well under pressure, and enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment. Must be available every afternoon except for Monday and Wednesday. Previous commercial kitchen experience is required. Extra morning shifts are available for food preparation for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities
Preparing and assembling tacos, nachos and other menu items
Packing takeaway and delivery orders accurately
Preparing Uber Eats and pickup orders
Managing Uber Eats driver pickups efficiently
Food preparation and kitchen setup
Washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures




Working efficiently during busy service periods
Supporting the rest of the team with general kitchen duties

About you
Previous kitchen or commercial food preparation experience
Quick, organised and reliable
Able to work efficiently during busy periods
Positive attention to detail
Positive attitude and solid work ethic
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Food safety knowledge is preferred
Available for regular afternoon and evening shifts
