About The Role
John Cameron Aviation is seeking a technician to join our Moorebank facility focusing on slides and rafts. This is a fantastic prospect to work with a respected name in the aviation industry and contribute to the safety of air travel worldwide. Monday–Friday role. This is a hands-on role requiring valuable mechanical knowledge;
experience and knowledge of working with high-pressure functionality is desired.
Key Responsibilities
Support and perform high-quality maintenance and repair work in accordance with approved maintenance data.
Ensure full compliance with aviation regulatory frameworks and internal quality policies.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to prioritise and manage workload.
Consistently demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Requirements
Experience working in a mechanical environment.
Experience and understanding of working with high-pressure functionality.
Good understanding of basic maintenance standards and safety protocols.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills; a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
Desirable
Aviation experience (not essential, as full training will be given).
