Job Description

Egis is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to complement our Maintenance team in Sydney looking after Transurban’s Sydney Southern Network. This will include the motorway and tunnel environment covering the Eastern Distributor, Cross City Tunnel, M5 East, M5 South-West, M4 West, M4 East, M8, M4–M5 Link and Rozelle Interchange.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager for the Project, this position will:
provide practical, in office Mechanical Engineering assistance to maintenance teams for complex defects, non-routine repairs and high-risk work activities
be able to validate defect symptoms and constraints in the field and develop fit-for-purpose solutions
support planning of work methods, hold points and acceptance criteria to ensure protected return-to-service and compliant outcomes.
