Asian Kitchen Treendale is a hugely popular Malaysian fusion restaurant servicing Bunbury and surrounding suburbs. We are currently looking for a Cook to join our energetic kitchen crew.

Work Duties

Under the direction of the director, the Cook is to perform, but not limited to, the following duties:
Examining ingredients and food produce to ensure and maintain freshness and quality.
Storing and maintaining the freshness of ingredients and food produce appropriately including freezing them.
Preparing and cooking food and dishes on our menu.
Seasoning and cooking of food and dishes to our restaurant standard.
Portioning the serve for each dish.
Plating and presenting of dishes.
Cooking food to specific diners’ requirements or requests on occasions.




Planning and changing our menu from time to time.
Estimating and ordering ingredients and food produce on a regular basis.
Training of kitchen or other staff in the kitchen.
Such other duties as may be incidental to the work of a Cook.

Qualification

The successful candidate must have the minimum formal qualification to work as a Cook (by formal qualification or work experience).
