Responsibilities:
Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
Load and unload goods as required,

Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to management immediately.

Qualifications:
Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver’s licence.
Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a logistics or transport environment.

Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
