About the Company

Uplift Recruitment is partnering with an established property group to appoint Development Managers into its Sydney residential development team. These are client-side roles supporting the delivery of residential apartment and mixed-use projects.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with experienced senior development leaders, gaining exposure across planning, approvals, consultant management, programme, reporting and project delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for an established Development Manager, Assistant Development Manager, or project delivery qualified ready to take the next step in residential development.

Responsibilities
Coordinating external consultants across design, planning, approvals and delivery
Supporting DA, S4.55, CC and other authority approval processes
Assisting with feasibility updates, budgets, cash flow, programme and risk reporting
Preparing project briefs, meeting packs, reports and development documentation
Supporting tender reviews and consultant or contractor appointments
Monitoring project programme, risks, actions and key deliverables
Liaising with internal construction, sales, marketing and finance teams
Helping ensure projects are delivered in line with commercial,



governance and quality requirements

Qualifications

You will have residential development or closely aligned project delivery experience, ideally across apartments or mixed-use projects. You may currently be an Assistant Development Manager, Development Manager, Project Manager or similar, from a developer, developer-builder, consultancy or builder-side setting.

Required Skills
Exposure to residential apartment and/or mixed-use development projects
An understanding of planning and approvals processes, including DA, S4.55, CC or similar pathways
Experience working with consultants, authorities, builders and internal stakeholders
Exposure to project budgets, programme, risk and reporting
Solid organisation, communication and stakeholder-management skills
A practical approach and genuine interest in building a career in client-side development

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive package up to circa $185k + Super, plus bonus
