Responsibilities

· Monitors quality and implements control measures if required

· Train and supervise sorters and packers

· Allocate staff to jobs/roles on packing lines

· Setup packing line prior to production

· Organise packaging stock for the capsicum line

· Prepare packaging and labelling for days production

· Implement daily scheduled packing plan

· Run the packing line using computerised software

· Implement food safety system for the packing line

· Complete all required QA documents daily

· Take and check required samples daily

· Determine daily staff requirements based on scheduled packing plan

· Re-train staff in response to quality issues

· Coordinate with the Despatch Manager, Packhouse Supervisor/Manager to manage stock and order fulfilment

· Make adjustments during the day based on order requirements and completion





· Allocate staff to cleaning areas/zones for end of day cleaning

· Implements all WHS requirements & raises any issues with Management

· Participate in audits, traceability exercises and HACCP team as required.

To be successful in this role you require a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
