About The Role
Based at Perth Airport, the Manager, Health, Safety & Workplace drives safety, wellbeing and environmental performance across operations, partnering with operational teams, People & Culture, senior leaders and regulators. The role leads HSE activities across WA and NT business units and contributes to national HSE programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support local HSE teams to deliver planned safety and environmental activities
Drive hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation and legislative compliance
Deliver safety and environmental improvement initiatives
Conduct internal audits and inspections, and support external audits
Facilitate HSE inductions and maintain accurate incident records
Support injury management, including triage and return-to-work planning
Prepare monthly HSE reports for key stakeholders
Essential Requirements
Formal safety qualification (essential); environmental qualification desirable
Demonstrated success in a similar HSE leadership role
Understanding of state workers' compensation schemes; case management experience highly regarded
Competent in documentation, reporting and records management using Microsoft Office
Current full driver's licence
