Senior Full Stack Developer

Sydney

Full time (potential for contract)

We're partnering with a well-established financial services organisation in Sydney to find a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team.

You'll be working across a contemporary, cloud-native platform, React and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js and AWS on the back end (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), with GraphQL in the mix too. You'll work within agile squads delivering a mix of business-as-usual improvements and greenfield project work.

Key responsibilities:
Design, build and maintain features across a React/TypeScript front end and Node.js back end
Design and consume APIs, integrating with internal platforms and third-party providers
Write clean, well-tested code following agile/Scrum delivery practices
Collaborate with product owners,



designers and engineers within a cross-functional squad
Support production systems and troubleshoot issues using observability tooling
Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
Mentor other engineers where relevant

What we're looking for:
Solid commercial experience with React and TypeScript
Solid Node.js backend experience
Comfortable with AWS, ideally including serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
GraphQL exposure a plus
Experience with automated testing and agile/Scrum delivery
Financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry background highly regarded, not essential
