Location: Burwood, Sydney
Position: Casual (shifts across mornings, evenings, and sleepovers)
Hourly Rate: $40–$60 (SCHADS Award Level 2.1 plus casual loading)

Are you fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin and passionate about supporting others? We’re recruiting enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to join a caring Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in Burwood.

Role Overview
Provide compassionate support with daily routines, personal care, and social participation
Accurately maintain records of resident goals, achievements, and incidents
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and a multidisciplinary support team
Uphold safety standards and promptly report any hazards or incidents
Encourage independence and community engagement among residents




Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Requirements
Essential: Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
Background in supporting people with dual diagnoses (mental health & disability)
Experience in personal care and manual handling
Reliable with flexibility for a rotating roster including sleepover shifts
Demonstrated ability to follow care plans and record accurate documentation
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and solid commitment to participant wellbeing
Current immunisation records required
